We started in 2000 because we saw where things were going wrong in the field. Laboratories would purchase expensive analytical systems only to be left to fend for themselves. Service was lacking, spare parts were unavailable, and hotlines didn't understand the specific applications. When a device sat idle, no one took responsibility.
We decided to do things differently. To us, selling a system means taking responsibility. It means ensuring it stays up and running. Being reachable when problems arise. Keeping reagents in stock. Being on-site whenever necessary. And providing the same dedicated contact persons for years to come.
Amino acid analysis is our sole focus. We don't have a broad product range, and we don't expand into unrelated fields. Instead, we offer expertise built over 25 years. We have clients who have worked with us for decades and systems that remain consistently operational.

From a Small Workshop to a European Service Partner
It all started in Germany in 2000. Back then, we were a small team selling and supporting amino acid analyzers. Our idea was simple: laboratories don’t just need equipment - they need partners who are both experts in their field and always available when needed.
In those early years, we learned what truly matters. It’s not about quick sales; it’s about long-term support. It’s not about promises; it’s about response times. And it’s not about "off-the-shelf" solutions, but about systems that integrate seamlessly into specific workflows.
Over time, our client base grew to include pharmaceuticals, clinical diagnostics, research, and food analysis. Our reach expanded from Germany to the DACH region, and later into Benelux and Scandinavia. We grew - but we did so intentionally. We only expanded as far as we could while maintaining the high standard of service our clients have come to expect.
In 2025 we celebrated 25 years. Many of the laboratories that started with us back then are still our clients today. Some of the devices we installed have been running for over 15 years. That’s no coincidence. It’s the result of us remaining available and taking full responsibility for the systems we provide.

Founder and Managing Director with 40 years of experience in the technical service and sales of amino acid analyzers.
Jens Onken
Managing Director
Joined the team in October 2017 as a Service Engineer for in-house repairs, final testing, and the qualification of new and refurbished units. He also handles on-site repairs, maintenance, installations, and qualifications. Since July 2020, he has served as Co-Owner and Managing Director.
